neither restoration nor reconstruction

I use vocabulary to maintain a link.

I want to play –

to evoke not describe,

nor illustrate

but like embroidery and tapestry

invent

‘speak’

declaim –

fragile yet robust

layered, imbued with age,

and resonant.
